Karla Morgan (she/her/hers) is a Naturopathic doctor living in Portland, Oregon with her husband Matt and two children. Karla completed her doctorate at the National University of Natural Medicine. She has a BS in molecular biology from Portland State University. Karla also graduated from Antioch College with a BA in History, Philosophy and Religious Studies with a focus in Buddhism. She had the wonderful opportunity to study and practice Buddhism in Japan through the Antioch Study Abroad program. She also spent four months studying and working with traditional healers at the Center of Traditional Indigenous Medicine in Oaxaca, Mexico. Her volunteer experience includes work with Planned Parenthood, Cascade AIDS Project, Living Stages, Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center, Signature Hospice, In Act, The Oregon Food Bank, and other social justice and arts projects.
