KoriAnn Carter (she/her/hers) is the social equity program officer for the Morgan Family Foundation.  In this role she engages with the St. Cloud community to understand opportunities for advancing social equity and manages the related grantmaking process, working closely with nonprofit grant applicants and grantee partners.   Originally from Illinois, KoriAnn has called St. Cloud home for more than two decades, including some of her elementary school years.  She has worked in the nonprofit field for more than six years, with positions at Promise Neighborhood, the Sanneh Foundation, and United Way of Central Minnesota.  Passionate about working with youth, she likes to help bridge gaps between organizations and community members.  In addition to her Foundation role, KoriAnn has served as a part-time paraprofessional at Tech High School and continues to mentor local youth, particularly girls of color, through a program she founded, GOATS (Girls on Arise to Succeed).  A practicing Buddhist and former cosmetologist, she enjoys reading and especially spending time with her two children and family.
